Detective Nickie Savage is neck-deep in a murder case when she learns that Jun Zheng, the human trafficker who abducted her when she was 14, is back in business.

Even more alarming, Nickie’s first-class boyfriend, Duncan Reed, is pressing for a permanent relationship.

Nickie decides to dive into Zheng’s spidery operation, intent on locating and freeing the girls caught in the human trafficker’s sticky web, only to discover that Zheng was the one who spun the gossamer truth that’s keeping her and Duncan apart.

When will this Savage Rendezvous book be available?
I have read Savage Echoes and Savage Deception and I can’t wait to read this Savage Rendezvous book.
I have also read all the Black Creek Series. Love you books.

  2. Linda Bertelson says:

I have read most of your book and I enjoyed them very much. I am waiting for Savage Rendezvous.
I do have a question for you. What was Duncan painting for his aunt and uncles Christmas present?
Christmas they gathered and Nicki gave them the tree, but I could find no mention of what Duncan was working on.

    • R.T. says:

Thank you for reading, Linda! Hearing from readers is one my most favorite past-times. You pose an excellent question. I will attempt to provide a clear answer to a muddled/vague topic. I make efforts to create human characters who live their lives like real people who are diverse and honest. In order to do this, they need to do some random, normal things now and then. If not, every single scene and item introduced becomes a clue or a piece of relationship development. Duncan’s gift was given before Nickie arrived that particular day. If every item and/or scene has a specific purpose in the story development, the story becomes predictable and lazy. On the other hand, I wouldn’t want to leave a reader with a question that never gets answered … not even in subsequent books. It’s a fine line to walk and a growing/learning process. Thank you for bringing your question to my attention. I hope I answered you and please know I will consider it as I write further. Happy reading!
